Every veil, every pearl, every stitch at Dove Grey Bridal begins the same way — with a quiet morning in our sunny South Coast studio, a cup of coffee and a deep love of intricate fabrics and the art of hand-making your bridal accessories.
We are a small, independent bridal studio nestled on the beautiful NSW South Coast of Australia. Everything we create — from our delicate lace veils to birdcage veils — is made entirely by hand, right here in our studio.
Your wedding day is one of the most significant days of your life, and the accessories you choose to wear deserve to carry that same intention. When you choose a Dove Grey piece, you're not choosing something mass-produced on a factory floor. You're choosing something that was carefully cut, sewn, and finished by hand — made specifically for a bride like you.
We work with the finest materials: soft French lace, lustrous freshwater pearls, delicate silk, and quality findings sourced with care. Every piece is finished to a standard we'd be proud to wear ourselves.
Our little studio is our happy place. It's where bridal dreams take shape — where lengths of ivory tulle are cut and hand-rolled, where pearl clusters are assembled one by one, and where lace is delicately pinned until just right.
'I've lived and breathed fashion since she was a little girl. My family ran a small business making hand-made leather shoes from a factory in Kingsgrove, Sydney, where I saw the art of creating things in hand and the heart that goes into Australian-made products.
After studying fashion design I fell into styling for some of Australia's best women's lifestyle magazines, and then by chance into bridal magazines which I loved. For 8 years I ran a beautiful bridal boutique, where I met and styled over 5,000 brides (that seems too many, but it was the number, I promise!).
Seeing brides day in, day out I heard (and saw) it all, and keep all of that in mind when designing and making my accessories for Dove Grey. I love a delicate lace, a whimsical appliqué and liquid silks, but most I love the slow process of making these items and it's never lost on me that these items I create walk down the aisle on your happiest day. It's an absolute privilege."
